Organisations which apply must be registered charities, industrial and provident societies, exempt charities and community interest companies or organisations applying for charitable status.
Our grants are generally in the region of £10,000 - £15,000 a year for up to three years. In exceptional cases we will consider larger grants
Unlocking Creativity encourages psychiatric hospitals to use arts activities as a way of working with people with severe mental illness. It has the added benefit that as patients move through hospital back into society, they can take their artistic skills to a community based arts group, as a way of easing their stressful transition, helping them to settle into the community, meet people and make friends. This fits within the social inclusion agenda.
Following the end of a very positive relationship with the Central School of Ballet, LankellyChase has embarked on a new partnership with The Northern School of Contemporary Dance to promote the career opportunities of young dancers.
